SAM POTTER

Sam joined Siddhi in September 2021 with more than 14 years of corporate finance, private investing and early stage company experience. Sam started his career at Deutsche Bank in the Global Industrials Group covering paper and packaging companies throughout North America and worked on a range of leveraged finance, M&A and equity capital markets transactions. In 2010 Sam joined Ares Management and served as an investment professional in their Direct Lending business where he worked on middle market financings for companies in a wide variety of industries including healthcare, software, specialty distribution, commercial laundry, broadband communications, specialty manufacturing, waste services, and education. At Ares, Sam led transaction diligence, structuring and execution as well as provided ongoing portfolio company monitoring and support.

In 2014 Sam ventured into the start-up world and has since been working with early stage companies in a variety of roles focused on finance, strategy, operations, financial planning and analysis, and corporate development. During this time, Sam has also led deal sourcing, diligence, and execution for various private investors. Most recently, Sam served as the VP of Corporate Development for Rotor Acquisition Corp. a $276M Special Purpose Acquisition Vehicle that completed its initial business combination with Sarcos Robotics in September 2021. Sam is a graduate of the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University (B.S.) majoring in Finance.
