Remote, USA

Full Time

About the Role

As part of the Investment Team, the Associate will be critical to each stage of the investment process for some of the most progressive brands and paradigm shifting companies in the space. The overall objective for the Associate is to support the Investment Team on deal flow and managing the deal funnel. The Associate is process oriented, highly analytical, has a strong attention to detail, and demonstrates curiosity and commitment to executional excellence. Additionally, you are learning and developing core knowledge of food + beverage investment basics, tools, and protocols that build towards a strong foundation in this space. This is a remote position that requires a self-starter, someone who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment, and works well in a notably team-oriented atmosphere.

Requirements

An Associate must exhibit extremely strong quantitative and modeling skills, is able to learn quickly and make steady progress without the need for constant, significant feedback from more senior team members. They are excellent at navigating multiple tasks, from planning/development through completion. They thrive as collaborative thinkers, working well in teams, and as independent, self-starters. Associates are excellent communicators using a variety of communication tools and methods. They should have experience in entrepreneurial environments and the flexibility to work in both highly-structured corporate settings and less-structured, startup environments. They are comfortable reporting to and working with team members having different skill sets, areas of focus, different ways of thinking, backgrounds, and professional goals.
